Keeping the trance fires ablaze since the early 90’s, it was only a matter of time until the Who’s Afraid of 138?! label would serve one of John Askew’s fine dishes. ‘Shine’ is the UK producer’s thin line of early trance, today’s acid and the future sound of 138.
Always one who remains true to his roots, John Askew release schedule has always ensured that he will never fade into darkness when it comes to Trance music. Latest release “Shine” is another prime example of the modern-day Askew sound. Not one for the faint hearted Shine is aimed straight at the peak time floors, with a thunderous kickdrum, sub rattling bass lines and aggressive acids, this speaker freaker is one for the underground floors!
