Former Swedish House Mafia cohorts Axwell and Sebastian Ingrosso will release a new album together under the name Axwell Λ Ingrosso, and are set to debut new music when they perform for the first time at Governor’s Ball in New York on June 8th.

To kick off the new partnership, Zane Lowe premiered the duo’s new intro music on his BBC Radio 1 program, following it up with “We Come We Rave We Love.” The latter track is a Swedish House Mafia fan favorite the pair recently posted to SoundCloud to clean house ahead of their new tunes. Solidifying the partnership, Axwell and Ingrosso dissolved their individual Facebook pages and launched a single one for Axwell Λ Ingrosso.

Interestingly, Axwell Λ Ingrosso’s album will be the first for both DJs as Swedish House Mafia never released an official full-length. The two producers said that the majority of the LP is reportedly finished and should see release this year.

Along with their Governor’s Ball appearance, Axwell Λ Ingrosso have a slew of dates lined up in the coming months, including sets at Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas, V Festival in the U.K. and Sweden’s Bravalla Festival. On June 25th, the duo will also continue their Departures residency at Ushuaia in Ibiza.

While Swedish House Mafia called it quits after their last tour wrapped up in 2013, Axwell, Ingrosso and Steve Angello have all remained busy as ever. Along with various projects, Axwell and Ingrosso put together “Roar” for last year’s Monster’s University, while Angello has been busy playing sets around the world, hosting his BBC Radio 1 residency and dropping the occasional remix.
