Daft Punk’s Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo is all set to produce a solo album. No release date has been scheduled but it has been confirmed that it will be filled with guest artists for vocals. This definitely does not indicate a Daft Punk breakup. In fact Daft Punk are known for releasing an album every four to eight years. This would give their fans an additional set of new music to listen to. After the massive success of Random Access Memories, it makes sense to branch out to alternative sounds.
For now we can only confirm a vocal collaboration with Charlotte Gainsbourg. Stay tuned as we keep you updated with more news once its out!
