Mysterious members of the Anjunabeats family, Parker & Hanson have been responsible for some of the most intricate and beautiful releases since their debut on the label in 2010 with “Alquimia”. Emerging from a two year silence, “Gravity” is their most elegant composition to date; a stripped back piano piece that draws modern classical comparisons.
The duo’s deepest original, “Gravity” is a raw, spine-tingling instrumental. Growing from a singular piano motif, Parker & Hanson keep things dark with a concise arrangement that allows the memorable lead to shine through.
Making his label debut in resounding fashion with a tasteful big room rework is US producer Jason Ross. Having caught the ear of Above & Beyond with a series of club ready singles, Jason brings his trademark resounding groove and fizzing percussive layers for a more uplifting mix. Debuted to 10, 000 people on the White Isle as part of Above & Beyond’s Radio 1 Ibiza set, this is a taste of exciting things to come from the latest member of the Anjunabeats family.
