From artists like Adele to Hozier, Sony has started removing all its tracks from Soundcloud, following a breakdown in negotiations between Sony & Columbia records with Soundcloud.
Although Soundcloud did recently sign licencing agreements with Warner music and Universal, the German company could face some heat from fans. These takedowns are due to an overwhelming “lack of monetization opportunities,” a spokesman for Sony & Columbia said.
To be honest most fans lost their love for Soundcloud the day they started pulling off tracks off almost everyone’s accounts.
