With over 20 years of experience in the Dance music realm, Slave (UK) is now back to form with another powerful released, by the name of Bambino EP. A three-track packaged consisting of: Mia, Arran (Dont Stop) and Thats My Word, Bambino EP has now hit the shelves and is seeking to continue Slave (UK)s successful streak.
James Slaven, the man behind the Slave (UK) moniker, has been enrolled at the Soma Skool to learn his craft, before moving on to signing with some top labels such as: Under No Illusion Recordings, Blacksoul Music and 18-09 Records. Influenced by the legendary Sven Vath, Slave (UK) has been the mastermind behind his own House and Techno influenced flavours, which were put on display through remarkable projects such as: The Coin Toss EP and Im Trippin Remix.
Based in Loch Lomond, Scotland, Slave (UK) is one of the most in-demand artist in the country, playing some of Scotlands most renowned clubs and featuring in celebrated festivals such as In The Woods. Slave (UK) is now planning on fuelling his ascension with his latest creation Bambino EP.
Already piling up support from A-list DJs like: Anderson Noise, Andi Durrant, David Glass, Johan Nilsson, Joseph Capriati, Paco Osuna, Roger Sanchez, Stonebridge, Tom Novy and Vanilla Ace, Bambino EP is off to a very good start.
Mia holds an exhilarating blend of House grooves, percussive rhythms and remarkable horn section wonders, dabbling into Latin and Jazzy inspirations. On the other hand Arran (Dont Stop) draws inspirations from Tech House and Techno, whilst boasting deep vocals, infectious beats and fervent, classical string arrangements. Thats My Word has been assigned the closing spot on this project, proposing an uplifting mood and summery vibes. Wu Tang & The Charmels sampling is the perfect base for the Jazzy instrumentals and an exciting House atmosphere, driven by subby, groovy bass-lines.
Bambino EP is now part of 18-09 Records catalogue, adding to Slave (UK)s contributions towards this imprints capital. The Scottish independent label is a House and Techno specialist, boasting a roster comprising established and up-and-coming artists. Slave (UK) will once again be joining 18-09 Records talent list, amongst heavyweight names such as: Christian Arno, Patrick J, Ryan Provost, Dan Dance, Damon Carter, David Grant, Mikey Duncan, Martin Sanka, Graeme Vass, Allan Snowden, Jon Hatter, AJ Battuta and Hannah Laing to name a few. Being such a top-quality project, Bambino EP will certainly be a prime contender for high chart positions in the months ahead.
