Anjunadeep have taken their famous parties across the globe in recent years, from their base in London across North America, to Sydney, Tokyo, Amsterdam, and Marrakech. Now they bring a host of label favourites to Goa for the very first time. Named after Anjunabeach in Goa – Anjunadeep take over Waters in Vagator Beach for a special 12 hour day & night special.
We have put together a few things that you can definitely expect from the event.
Delicious lineup
This is going to be the first of the Anjunadeep proprietary gigs in India, and with artists like Jody Wisternoff, Eli & Fur and Yotto, the lineup is LIT. They also have some great local Artists like Browncoat aka Nawed Khan and Praveen Achary.
Beautiful ambiance
The party will take place at the Waters Beach Lounge and Grill in Vagator, Goa which oversees the Ozran Beach and will last for 12 hours from sunrise to sunset, which sounds exciting!
Brilliant music
Revelers can expect some melodic and groovy beats on the dance floor as you feel the Anjunadeep vibe that the label has been able to meticulously curate and stay steady with over the years. Their chart topping compilation album of the Anjunadeep series – Anjunadeep 08 mixed by James Grant and Jody Wisternoff, has also been released so a lot of amazing new tunes can also be expected.
Good news for the electronic music scene in India!
This also marks another great step for the electronic music scene in India. To have one of the world’s leading deep house labels in our country is yet another sign that India is priming itself to be one of the major destinations across the globe for electronic music.
As I write this I think to myself, could there be a better place to be for New Years Eve? I think not! There’s going to be 12 hours of good music, food and drinks, starts with a sunset AND ends with a sunrise (WHAT!), could you possibly ask for more?
