Himesh Patel steps into the role of Jack Malik admirably, a young man from Lowestoft who works at a retail warehouse and aspires to be a singer and songwriter. He is helped by his best friend and manager, Lily James and other friends as well as Ed Sheeran as he re-introduces all the Beatles classics to the world. The movie itself is based on the name of a Beatles song and is an absolute delight for all Beatles fans.
La La Land
This is one of the modern musicals that many have heard of. It was released in 2016 as a romantic comedy musical, directed and written by Damien Chazelle.
It has Emma Stone playing the role of an aspiring actress while Ryan Gosling plays a jazz pianist. They meet in Los Angeles, where they are pursuing their own dreams.
