Tomorrowland 2019 has been the most sought-after music events especially because of the hype that it created for its 15th anniversary this year.

Apart from taking us back to a theme that rocked the world in 2012, Tomorrowland 2019 promised some of the most prolific acts and festival experiences. Now, with the first weekend having been completed, let’s take a look at the best moments.

Holosphere? Hell yeah!

There isn’t a more spectacular thing you’ve seen in the dance music world, than Eric Prydz’ Holosphere. With its mind-bending visuals coupled with the music of the highest order, the show took everyone’s breath away.

Avicii lives on with Tiesto’s set!

Although it’s been more than a year since his demise, Avicii hasn’t stopped his Tomorrowland feature. As Tiesto played some of his music, the master producer was seen in tears – and so were thousands of fans. He played Avicii’s “Without You” and created a really intense situation.

Armin’s magic with Burned With Desire X Show Me Love

Is there ever a festival that will go without seeing an Armin special? Same was true with this edition of Tomorrowland as he dropped Burned With Desire along with Show Me Love. It was simply spectacular.

Shaquille O’Neal setting the crowd ablaze

DJ Diesel better known as the monstrous Shaquille O’Neal was a highlight for many reasons. While his set saw some mental energy, he was also seen being part of the crowd and guiding the crowd to do a few cool moves.

Steve Aoki and Don Diablo get on stage together!

A collaboration between Steve Aoki and Don Diablo with the track “This is What We Started” created a really good vibe as the crowd got totally in sync with the two.

Lion King’s hardstyle massacre!!

It was something more than exhilarating when Da Tweekaz played an epic hardstyle remix of the famous Lion King theme song, “Circle Of Life’.

W&W premiere a beautiful new track, possibly with Roxanne Emery!

It’s hard to not miss the scintillating creation that W&W created. It was beyond blissful to witness this happen. It’s rumoured to feature Roxanne Emery.

Don Diablo plays the Eric Prydz remix of Deadmau5′ ‘The Veldt’

It was a great pleasure watching the live performance of the fast-rising Don Diablo who exuded immense energy with tracks like “On My Mind”, his new track “The Rhythm”. The highlight definitely was when he dropped Eric Prydz’ remix of Deadmau5’s “The Veldt”.

DJ Snake drops “Fall Into The Sky”

The best moment of DJ Snake’s set was certainly when he got the entire crowd to get jumping with “Fall Into The Sky”, a track created with Zedd, Lucky Date ft. Ellie Goulding.

3 Are Legend’s Closing set featuring Daft Punk’s tracks!

The three legends Dimitri Vegas, Like Mike and Steve Aoki, beat all expectations. With a set that portrayed ‘15 years of Iconic Anthems’, they brought Day 1 to a fitting close and set the stage for a grand Day 2 start! The addition of Daft Punk’s tracks “Aerodynamic” and “Harder Better Faster Stronger” was without no doubt the best part of their set! Faithless’ “Insomnia” also was just as special.

Exciting mash-ups from Afrojack!

Among many IDs and top tracks in his set, the mashups of “Encore” vs “Rockstar”, and a mashup of “Titanium” vs “Hands Up” vs “Hey Brother” was truly memorable.

The Chainsmokers close their set with “Closer”

Aside from playing many of their recent hits, and plenty of IDs that we can look forward to, the brothers ended the set with their biggest hit track, “Closer”. Is there a better way they could have ended it? We don’t think so.

With that, weekend 1 was a hit! We can’t wait for the second one! Stay Tuned.
