Mazay, the innovative project by Andrea Mazzantini, has been making waves in the music scene with its eclectic blend of House, Future Pop, Bass, Garage, and New Wave sounds, all infused with Hip-Hop and Electro influences.

As one half of Pink is Punk, Mazzantini launched Mazay in February 2017, quickly establishing a reputation with performances at major events, including the Milan stop of Alan Walker’s world tour and the Nameless Festival.

Mazay’s prowess as a producer is evident in his numerous remixes and collaborations. His remix of “Sportswear” by Dark Polo Gang garnered significant DJ support in Italy, and his take on Alvaro Soler’s “Yo Contigo, Tú Conmigo” achieved over 2 million streams on Spotify. He has also worked on hits like SDJM’s “That Way,” Samuel Heron’s “Napapijri,” and Quentin40’s “Thoiry.” His collaboration with SLVR on “Boom” and with VUSH on “Soap Opera” received backing from top DJs like Don Diablo, Nero, and Martin Solveig.

In 2018, Mazay released his debut single “Stars” featuring FAITH, under Universal Italia. This marked the beginning of a fruitful partnership with AC Milan, where he performed live DJ sets at San Siro and served as a Brand Ambassador. His label, created with Thaurus Publishing and Richveel, saw the release of several successful singles, including “Stay Fresh,” “Coco (Southbeat),” and “Got Me” (Mazay Edit).

2020 saw Mazay continue his streak with dance singles like “Hey!” with Alterboy and “Frozen Umbrellas,” a house track that became a summer hit and theme song for Radio Deejay’s “Ciao Belli.” In 2021, he created the official anthem for Lega Basket and participated in high-profile events like the Coppa Italia Final 8 on RaiDue and Eurovision.

Mazay’s debut album “Good Vibes Club Vol.1,” released in July 2021, showcased his diverse influences and contemporary sound, featuring hits like “Frozen Umbrellas” and “Madre Mia.” Despite the pandemic, he resumed live performances across Italy, producing club-focused tracks like “I’m with You” and “Rock It.”

His producer credits include Tre’s “Temporale” and two tracks for AC Milan with Davide Locatelli, including the viral hit “Pioli is on Fire.” His spring/summer 2022 tour was a triumph, capped by a guest spot at the “Jova Beach Party” and the release of “Work” with Soave.

Mazay’s latest collaboration, “Fashion,” produced with Drillionaire and Benny Benassi and featuring Anna, Lazza, and Tony Effe, has already gone platinum with over 12 million plays. As he continues to tour and produce, Mazay’s “Stay Fresh” ethos ensures he remains at the forefront of the music scene.
