Amber Heard’s family has just grown by two. The 39-year-old actress, who is already a mom to her 4-year-old daughter, Oonagh Paige, has welcomed twins and is now a proud mother of three.
A representative for Heard confirmed the exciting news, sharing that the star is “delighted” to complete her family. “Mama and babies are enjoying every minute. And Oonagh is happily running the show,” the rep told PEOPLE.
The announcement comes after an exclusive report in December 2024 revealed that Heard was pregnant again. At the time, her rep expressed how thrilled Heard and Oonagh were about the new addition to the family, and now, with twins in tow, Heard is embracing motherhood even more.
Amber shared the names of her newborns-daughter Agnes and son Ocean-via an emotional Instagram post on May 11. “This year I am beyond words excited to celebrate the completion of the family I’ve worked so hard for years to build,” she wrote. Fans immediately inundated her comments with congratulations and well-wishes, as the actress shared a beautiful snapshot of her growing family.

Heard’s path to motherhood has been all her own. When she announced the arrival of her first child, Oonagh, in 2021, the actress said that she had decided to have a child on her own terms, describing how necessary it is for women to reframe the traditional thinking about family. “I now appreciate how radical it is for us as women to think about one of the most fundamental parts of our destinies in this way,” she wrote at the time.
After her highly publicized legal battles with ex-husband Johnny Depp ended in 2022, Heard retreated from the spotlight and relocated to Madrid, Spain, to focus on family life. In a 2022 interview with NBC News’ Savannah Guthrie, she spoke about how much she was looking forward to being a full-time mom, away from the stress of courtroom drama. “I get to be a mom, like, full time, you know? Where I’m not having to juggle calls with lawyers,” she said.
In 2023, director Conor Allyn, who worked with Heard on the film In the Fire, shared that she was “living her best life” in Spain with Oonagh. Allyn praised Heard’s dedication to her daughter, saying she was “really good about making the time” for Oonagh, balancing motherhood with her personal life. Now, with twins Agnes and Ocean in the picture, it seems that Amber’s happiness is only growing.
