Anna Kendrick thinks Rebel Wilson having a wife is the most punk rock thing ever, and honestly, we’re obsessed with this energy. During a heartwarming chat for People magazine, Anna couldn’t stop gushing about her longtime friend and ‘Pitch Perfect’ co-star Rebel, admitting she could never have guessed who Rebel would end up with , until she met Ramona Agruma. And according to Anna, it just made perfect sense.
“It’s very punk rock that you have a wife. But then I’m like, ‘You’re a wife. What the f***?’” Anna joked. She went on to say Rebel is one of the most unique people she knows, so when Ramona showed up, it was like finding Rebel’s twin soul. Anna said the first time the ‘Pitch Perfect’ gang met Ramona at Rebel’s birthday party, they instantly fell in love with her. Rebel, who tied the knot with Ramona last September, laughed and said, “I think she really likes you too,” making the moment even cuter.
Talking about how life has shifted for her lately, Rebel admitted everything changed massively over the last three years. Between getting married and raising her adorable daughter Royce, life has taken her in a new and very lucky direction. Anna, clearly thrilled for her friend, even teased about crashing their future family ski trips, joking she’s ready to jump on Rebel’s back while going down the slopes. Honestly, can we get a reality show of these two already?
Rebel also shared a hilarious story about her two-year-old daughter being a total diva. Apparently, little Royce has Rebel massaging her feet for almost an hour before bed every night. Rebel joked that naming her daughter after a luxury car brand like Royce might have set the bar a little too high. “I should’ve called her Volvo!” she laughed.
