Hollywood power broker Ari Emanuel just made it clear—he’s fully backing Blake Lively in her messy legal battle against Justin Baldoni.

To rewind a bit, Lively and Baldoni, co-stars in It Ends With Us, are locked in a full-blown legal war. Lively claims Baldoni and his team planted negative press about her after she spoke up about alleged issues on set. Baldoni, on the other hand, insists that’s nonsense and says Lively is to blame for her own bad PR.

During a live interview, Emanuel blasted Baldoni, even butchering his name before doubling down. “It is a f***ed up, bad situation with what Bologna … Baldoni … whatever his name is … is doing,” Emanuel said, making it clear whose side he’s on.
And why is he so Team Lively? Simple. He’s known Lively and Ryan Reynolds for years and swears by their character. He even claimed that if the accusations against Baldoni and his team are true, then “they’re really bad people.”
Social Media Smear Campaign?
Emanuel also took shots at Baldoni’s alleged use of social media to attack Lively. According to Lively’s lawsuit, Baldoni and his producer Jamey Heath orchestrated a smear campaign against her. Emanuel wasn’t having it: “They should just stop.”
He pointed out that while social media can be great, it’s also a powerful weapon when used maliciously. And in his eyes, Baldoni and his team crossed the line.

Both Lively and Baldoni have lawsuits pending against each other, with a trial expected next year. Meanwhile, Baldoni’s legal team is firing back at Emanuel, saying his comments are biased because of his close relationship with Lively and Reynolds.
