Brit Eady Sues Bravo Over Fake Oral Sex Photo Scandal

Brit Eady has officially taken legal action against Bravo and its parent networks for what she claims was a vicious and humiliating portrayal during season 16 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta.

The reality TV newcomer has filed a $20 million lawsuit, accusing Bravo, NBC, True Original, and Endemol Shine North America of defamation, emotional distress, sexual harassment, and creating a hostile work environment-all stemming from that explosive episode 5 moment where an explicit photo was shown on air.

In the episode, filmed in June 2024 and aired in April 2025, former RHOA star Kenya Moore held up a poster board with a graphic image during her hair spa launch, implying it was Eady performing oral sex. The scene sparked instant backlash and even led to Moore’s suspension from the show. She has since exited the franchise. But for Eady, the damage was already done.

The court docs reveal that Eady wasn’t even shown the explicit image until nearly a year after filming, once the episode actually aired. She now insists the woman in the photo wasn’t her at all. In her suit, she blasts Bravo and its producers for knowingly airing what she calls a “false and defamatory” storyline and claims they were either fully aware the image wasn’t of her-or they were recklessly negligent in failing to verify it.

What’s worse? Eady says she tried to get a look at the image before the episode was broadcast, but the network flat-out refused. Instead, she was left to face public humiliation and endless speculation without any way to defend herself in real-time. Her lawsuit states that the episode’s production and editing “intentionally and falsely implied” that the graphic photo was of her, contributing to the “hostile and sexualized” environment she was forced to work in.

She didn’t hold back in her statement either. Eady slammed Bravo and its affiliates for “subjecting [her] to unwelcome, offensive, and sexualized behavior and comments,” all because of her gender. She claims this situation created an inferior working condition-essentially accusing the network of letting a gender-based attack air on national television without doing anything to protect her.

Eady isn’t just seeking financial compensation-although her lawsuit does demand at least $20 million plus legal fees. She also wants the controversial episode removed from every platform, a public correction issued, and full accountability for what she calls one of the darkest moments of her life. She argues that the incident not only damaged her reputation but also caused emotional trauma she’s still struggling to process.

The timing of the lawsuit is also making waves. Eady filed her claim on the same day as the RHOA season 16 reunion taping-an event she intentionally skipped. In fact, sources say Kenya Moore wasn’t invited to the reunion either. Taking to her Instagram Stories, Eady addressed fans directly, stating, “The events of this season have devastated me,” and clarified once again that the photo shown during the spa event “was not me.”

Eady explained she originally thought it might be her, which is why she reacted the way she did on camera. But after finally seeing the image for herself, she confirmed it’s definitely not her. “I do not know who was in that photo, but upon seeing it for the first time recently, I now know it was not me,” she wrote, adding that she’s determined to “seek accountability and move past this dark part” of her life.

So far, Bravo has declined to comment on the lawsuit, and PEOPLE has not received a response from Eady’s attorneys either. But one thing’s for sure-this case isn’t going away anytime soon, and the fallout from Bravo’s controversial decision to air the episode could get a lot more expensive than just a PR nightmare.
