Ever since she took the silver screen by storm, starring in the Oscar-darling The Substance, fans can’t get enough of the seasoned actress’s comeback.
Moore has been stealing our hearts on the big screen ever since her breakout performance in the 1980s classic, St. Elmo’s Fire. But believe it or not, there was a point in pop culture history when Moore was more famous for her messy star-studded relationships than her on-screen performances.
Fortunately, Moore is thriving in her career more-so than ever before. Furthermore, the actress seems to be perfectly happy without a romantic partner, as of April 2025. Demi Moore and Emilio Estevez were essential members of the 1980s “Brat Pack.” The two hit it off while filming the coming-of-age film, “St. Elmo’s Fire.” Although their characters weren’t romantically linked, behind the scenes was a whole other story. The pair instantly fell in love, with The Breakfast Club star getting down on one knee for Moore only months into their relationship.
But soon after the honeymoon phase subsided, things began to take a turn for the worse. According to Moore’s memoir Inside Out, Estevez began cheating on her throughout their engagement. Eventually, he got his ex-girlfriend pregnant, despite being in a committed relationship with Moore. Unsurprisingly, this was the last straw for the actress, and she broke off their engagement as soon as she heard the news.
Fortunately, the two buried the hatchet following their tumultuous relationship, and were able to remain friends. Moore and Estevez even went on to star alongside each other in the 2006 film, Bobby, proving to all that they’re willing to leave the past in the past.

One of Demi Moore’s most significant and long-term relationships was during her marriage to the Die Hard actor, Bruce Willis. You’d think from being together for so many years, their relationship was a walk in the park, right? Wrong! According to Moore in her memoir Inside Out, their relationship was rife with cheating scandals, poor communication skills, and opposing long-term values.
One day, Willis flat-out told Moore that he wanted a divorce. “‘I don’t know if I want to be married,’” Willis told Moore, according to her memoir. According to the actress, Willis realized over a decade into their marriage that he no longer wanted the commitment. “It was as if he woke up a few years later and thought, Woah, is this what I want? Or do I really want to be free?” She revealed in her memoir. “He was struggling to resolve a conflict within himself: he wanted family and grounding, but he also craved excitement and novelty. Basically, he wanted to do whatever the f*ck he wanted.”

Demi Moore’s marriage to former That ‘70s Show alum, Ashton Kutcher, was rife with toxicity from the get go. From Kutcher’s alleged sobriety shaming to a series of cheating scandals, it’s a wonder the two lasted as long as they did.
The Substance actress, who was sober for 20 years before dating Kutcher, says he pushed her to start drinking again despite all the work she’d done to quit alcohol. “I don’t know if alcoholism is a real thing,” the Dude, Where’s My Car actor allegedly told her, according to Inside Out. “I think it’s all about moderation.”
As a result, Moore began drinking again. Yet despite Kutcher being the one to push Moore to revive her relationship with alcohol, she claims he later began to shame her for the exact thing he pressured her into doing. “I felt like he was angry with me for having this problem in the first place,” Moore says of Kutcher in her memoir. “You made your bed; now you have to lie in it.”
But the final straw was when Kutcher cheated on Moore with a 21-year-old he’d met at a bowling alley. And the worst part? She found out about it through a Google Alert! “‘Ashton Kutcher caught cheating’ flashed across my screen,” Moore reveals in her book. She continues, saying, “There were quotes from a young blonde replaying Ashton’s pickup lines. I felt sick to my stomach: I knew those words. I knew she wasn’t lying.”

While there aren’t many details on their reason for splitting, both seem to be in a good place. In fact, according to The Daily Mail, Humm is now engaged to Succession actress, Annabelle Dexter. “When you know you know,” the renowned chef said in a post on Instagram, celebrating their relationship.
