The 59-year-old actress and the 63-year-old country star made things Instagram-official over Easter with a cheeky kiss-on-the-cheek post from Billy Ray’s Nashville ranch. It didn’t take long for fans to start buzzing, and according to friends, the “Austin Powers” star is smitten with Billy Ray’s whole cowboy vibe.
A close pal spilled to Page Six that Elizabeth “likes the whole cowboy thing” and has been waiting for a real romance for a while. Spending Easter at Billy Ray’s place in Nashville? It sounds like she’s already fitting into the country lifestyle pretty well.
While some fans were shocked at the pairing, those close to the couple say it’s the real deal. “This is not a hoax,” one insider said. “Liz is very sincere, and she looks genuinely happy.” And yeah, that Easter pic does show her smiling like she’s got a new spring in her step.
If you’ve been keeping up, there were hints earlier this month. Liz posted a bikini snap from her Maldives vacay and tagged Billy Ray, plus she picked his song She’s Not Cryin’ Anymore for the post. He even liked it. Subtle? Not really. But cute? Absolutely.
The two have history too, they co-starred in Christmas in Paradise back in 2022. So maybe love was brewing behind the scenes?
As for their romantic resumes: Elizabeth has a son, Damian, with the late Steve Bing and was married to Arun Nayar from 2008 to 2010. In 2020, she told Tatler she was open to love and looking for companionship and fun, not necessarily marriage. Billy Ray’s been married twice, first to Cindy Smith and then to Tish Cyrus, with whom he shares Miley, Noah, Braison, and adopted kids Brandi and Trace. He also has a son, Christopher Cody, and recently had a whirlwind marriage to singer Firerose that ended less than a year in.
