When Is the Met Gala 2025?
The Met Gala takes place on Monday, May 5, at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. The red carpet livestream begins at 6:00 p.m. ET / 3:30 a.m. IST on May 6.

What’s the 2025 Met Gala Theme?
This year’s theme is “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style.” It spotlights the influence of Black dandyism and menswear on global fashion. The red carpet dress code is “Tailored for You,” so expect sharp suits, custom details, statement accessories, and hopefully fewer theme-flops than usual.
