One source pointed to the upcoming trial of Sean “Diddy” Combs, who Bieber was linked to in the mid-2010s, as one of the many stressors. Another issue? His broken ties with former manager Scooter Braun, who retired in 2024.
The drama doesn’t stop there. Bieber also officially cut himself off from his fashion label, Drew House. In a now-deleted Instagram Story from April 10, he wrote, “I Justin Bieber am no longer involved in this brand. Drew House doesn’t represent me or my family or life. If your [sic] rocking with me the human Justin Bieber don’t waste ur money on Drew House.” He’s now planning to launch a new clothing line called SKYLRK.
This downward spiral has people talking. A former team member told The Hollywood Reporter that Bieber is “lost,” saying, “There’s no one protecting him because there’s no one there willing to say no to him. You say no, you get blown out.” They even claim the singer is left with millions in debt after pulling the plug on his Justice Tour back in 2022.
But Bieber’s rep isn’t letting the rumors slide. They called the reports “clickbait stupidity,” telling People that the claims come from “unnamed – and clearly ill-informed – ‘sources,’ disappointed that they no longer work with Justin.” According to the rep, Bieber is focused on “forging his own way forward” and staying on the right path.
Lately, Justin has been posting some pretty deep stuff on Instagram. On March 13, he admitted to feeling like a fraud, saying he’s always struggled with feeling unworthy. A week later, he opened up about his anger issues and feeling inauthentic when he tries to please others. “I think I hate myself sometimes when I feel myself start to become inauthentic,” he wrote.
