Jesy Nelson is already thinking about her post-baby glow-up, and it sounds like a full-blown makeover is on the cards.
The former Little Mix star, who’s currently expecting twins with her partner Zion Foster, has been stuck in the hospital since March due to serious pregnancy complications, but that’s not stopping her from planning a fresh new look. Jesy took to TikTok to chat about her hair makeover plans once she gives birth, and honestly, she’s just craving a change.
She joked, “One of the first things I want to do is dye my barnet. First of all, get your grays out for the lads!” Classic Jesy energy. She added that she’s not vibing with her current hair shade, saying it used to be ginger, but now it’s more like “washed-out auburn.” Zion apparently wants her to go browny-blonde, but Jesy’s torn. “I just don’t know what suits me,” she told fans. “What hair color do you actually love on me best? I can’t decide.”
Even though she’s been hospital-bound for months, Jesy’s not letting her glam game totally slide. She recently got lash extensions, right from her hospital bed. On Instagram, she gave a shout-out to @lashesbyhols for giving her brown lashes for the first time, and she’s obsessed. “Switched up my shape a little, and I absolutely love them,” she gushed. “Don’t think I’ll be going back to black now.”
Jesy’s hospital stay hasn’t exactly been chill. Back in March, she had to undergo emergency surgery after being diagnosed with twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome (TTTS), a high-risk condition where twins share a placenta unevenly. The procedure went well, though, and Jesy updated fans with the good news: “The TTTS has cleared up; the operation was a success, which is just absolutely incredible.”
That said, Jesy’s not out of the woods just yet. She revealed that her cervix is currently very short, which means her waters could break at any point, so she’s still stuck in the hospital for the foreseeable future. “I can’t leave the hospital until I’m a certain number of weeks,” she explained. “So every week we’re just like, ‘Please, please, please stay in there!’”
Despite the stress, Jesy Nelson’s makeover plans are clearly giving her something to look forward to. And knowing her, we can expect a major hair transformation the second she’s back home with her babies.
