Sean “Diddy” Combs is already facing a pile of disturbing allegations, but now he’s also been hit with a courtroom warning that could’ve gotten him ejected out mid-trial.
During his ongoing sex trafficking case, the Bad Boy Records founder came under fire from Judge Arun Subramanian for allegedly trying to interact with jurors, a serious violation in any courtroom.
The drama unfolded on June 5 when Diddy, who has pleaded not guilty to charges including sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy, and transportation to engage in prostitution, was caught nodding and making facial expressions toward the jury during witness testimony. Judge Subramanian didn’t hold back.
“I was very clear; there should be no facial expressions to the jury,” he told Combs’ legal team. “I could not have been clearer. There was a line of questioning where your client was nodding vigorously and looking at the jury.”
The judge warned, “That is unacceptable. There should be no efforts to have any interactions with this jury. If it happens again, I will give an instruction to the jury, or it could result in the exclusion of your client from the courtroom.”
Combs’ attorney, Marc Agnifilo, quickly responded, promising the court it “was not going to happen again.”
This heated moment came while witness Bryana Bongolan, a close friend of Combs’ ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura, returned to the stand for intense cross-examination. Bongolan dropped more bombshells about Diddy’s alleged violent behavior, standing firm on her testimony that he dangled her off a balcony in 2016.
According to Bongolan, the terrifying moment happened at Cassie’s apartment in Los Angeles. “Combs came behind me, lifted me up, and had me on top of the rail,” she testified. Weighing only about 100 pounds at the time, Bongolan said she pushed back as hard as she could, fearing for her life. “I was trying not to slip, pushing back on him because I was scared I was going to fall,” she said. “For a second, I thought I was going to fall.”
She added that Combs was screaming the whole time, accusing her of something she didn’t understand. “He was yelling at me. He was saying, ‘You know what the f–k you did.’ I had no idea what he was talking about. I said, ‘I don’t know what the f–k I did.’ He was yelling loudly.”
Diddy’s defense team tried to cast doubt on her claims, saying Combs was actually in New York at the time of the alleged incident. But Bongolan didn’t budge. She told jurors she had “no doubt” it was Combs who held her over that 17th-floor balcony.
As the trial continues, the tension in the courtroom is getting heavier by the day. Between emotional witness accounts and now the judge’s threat to eject Diddy himself, this trial is only getting more intense.
