Justin Bieber Just Got a New Stylist – And You Can Totally Tell

Justin Bieber Switches Stylists as Jenna Tyson Takes Over His Fashion Direction

Justin Bieber has long been one of Hollywood’s most unconventional dressers, earning a reputation for his boundary-pushing style over the past decade and a half. A significant part of Justin Bieber’s fashion evolution was shaped by celebrity stylist Karla Welch, who has worked with Bieber since 2011.

However, 2025 has ushered in a new era for Bieber’s wardrobe, as he has quietly transitioned to working with Jenna Tyson, a rising force in the fashion industry known for her streetwear expertise and hip-hop influences.

According to a joint Instagram post from fashion-news account Up Next, Jenna Tyson has officially joined Bieber’s styling team. The post confirmed that Tyson works alongside Bieber, sourcing pieces and curating his wardrobe while allowing him to style himself. Tyson, who has also worked with NBA star James Harden, first made waves in the industry through collaborations with Missy Elliott, Future, Gunna, and Roddy Ricch. She landed her first major solo client, Flo Milli, in 2022 and has since carved a niche in high-end streetwear styling.

Since October 2024, Bieber’s outfits have reflected a distinct shift. He has been spotted in unbuttoned Celine flannel shirts, oversized Margiela jeans, jaunty Western hats, boxy Willy Chavarria work shirts, distressed 424 jeans, and fingerless leather gloves. Tyson’s love for oversized silhouettes and Japanese streetwear aligns perfectly with Bieber’s preference for comfortable, statement-making pieces. In a 2022 Huffington Post interview, she explained, “I love streetwear. I love oversized. I like wearable art if it’s comfortable.”

Bieber’s fashion transformation was largely influenced by Karla Welch, who helped him transition from teen heartthrob to high-fashion rule-breaker. Welch described Bieber’s style as “full Hunter S. Thompson,” with bold choices like oversized Hawaiian shirts, designer sweatpants five sizes too big, and expensive flip-flops at red-carpet events. Welch even styled Hailey Bieber for key appearances, including their mismatched ensembles at the 2022 Grammys. Despite the shift in styling, Bieber and Welch still follow each other on Instagram, suggesting there’s no bad blood between them.

With Jenna Tyson on board, Bieber’s fashion direction is set to lean even further into oversized streetwear, hip-hop influences, and experimental layering. Given Tyson’s background in working with rap icons, Bieber’s evolving aesthetic could continue blending high-end designer wear with casual streetwear essentials.

While Welch has not publicly addressed the change, she last styled Bieber for his performance at Anant Ambani’s pre-wedding celebration in India in July 2024. Meanwhile, Tyson continues to shape Bieber’s evolving fashion direction as he gears up for new music and a fresh chapter in his career.

Will this new partnership redefine Bieber’s iconic style? Let us know your thoughts.
