Lindsay Lohan is officially stepping into the beauty biz, but fans hoping for a quick drop may have to wait a bit longer.
The 38-year-old actress confirmed in Elle’s 2025 Summer Issue that she’s developing her own skincare line, but progress is slow because, in her words, she’s “very specific” and “crazy about my skin and health.” The line is still in the works, and Lohan is currently in the testing phase, trying out different serums herself.
She didn’t spill too many product details just yet, but her obsession with skincare is crystal clear. In the same interview, where she chats with SNL’s Chloe Fineman, Lohan goes deep into her routine, revealing everything from her daily wellness drinks to her favorite skin treatments. Every morning, she starts with a homemade juice loaded with carrot, ginger, lemon, olive oil, and apple. She also swears by green tea and drinks a ton of water. Her other secret weapon? Pickled beets. “I put them in almost everything,” she says.
Lohan’s skincare tips extend beyond the kitchen. She’s all about cold therapy, splashing her face with ice-cold water every morning. She loads her water with chia seeds and doesn’t skip out on daily eye patches. And yes, she’s totally fine with a little cosmetic help. She’s a fan of Botox and laser treatments and even pointed out a specific at-home laser she saw Julianne Moore using that targets the area around the mouth. But not everything works for her. She tried Morpheus8, a popular microneedling treatment, but realized her skin is too thin for it.
Motherhood changed everything. Since welcoming her son Luai in 2023 with husband Bader Shammas, Lindsay says her skin has become super sensitive. That’s what pushed her to totally revamp her skincare and health habits. She even did blood tests to find out what she was allergic to and cut those things out of her diet. That major reset is what helped her skin bounce back, and now she’s applying all that personal knowledge to her beauty brand.
Outside of skincare, Lohan opened up about how her lifestyle has shifted as a mom who’s constantly on the move. She splits her time between Dubai, New York, and L.A., and each city offers a totally different vibe. L.A., she admits, can be stressful, especially when she’s just trying to take her son to the park. “Are there cameras?” is the question constantly in her head. But New York gives her space to breathe. “No one bothers us. Everyone has their own thing going on.” Still, she says Dubai gives her the best balance, privacy, peace, and space all in one. “I don’t have to worry there. I feel safe.”
While she didn’t drop a launch date for the beauty line, it’s clear Lindsay’s in no rush to slap her name on just anything. She’s hands-on, ingredient-conscious, and putting real thought into the products. Her fans know she’s had a long journey with fame, wellness, and self-care, and this beauty line looks like the next natural step in that story.
Whether it’s juice cleanses, chia water, or at-home lasers, Lindsay Lohan is clearly doing beauty her own way, and we’ll just have to wait a little longer to see the results hit the shelves.
