Savannah Chrisley and Robert Shiver have officially called it quits.
After nearly two years of dating, Savannah Chrisley and Robert Shiver split – a breakup Savannah confirmed herself on her podcast Unlocked.
The 27-year-old Growing Up Chrisley star revealed in the April 14 episode that the breakup actually happened over a month ago, on March 6. “Not that I’m keeping track,” she joked, “but I’ve taken time to process it and grieve the loss of something I thought would be forever.”
Savannah opened up about the heartbreak, telling listeners, “This stage of life sucks – it hurts.” The two started dating in August 2023, although their relationship was publicly confirmed by PEOPLE in September that year.
The split follows a pretty intense relationship timeline. Both Savannah and Robert were navigating heavy personal challenges – Robert’s estranged wife Lindsay is still awaiting trial for allegedly plotting his murder, and Savannah has been raising her siblings, Grayson and Chloe, while her parents Todd and Julie Chrisley serve prison time.
Despite all that, Savannah had high hopes for the relationship. She once told PEOPLE the romance showed her “you can find beauty in the ashes.” She was also incredibly supportive of Robert’s role as a dad, noting how important it was to her that he cared for her siblings and respected her situation.
There was even talk of marriage. Savannah admitted they had “definitely talked about it” but acknowledged that Robert had personal things to sort through before it could become reality. She pushed back against societal pressure, saying, “When you’re in the right relationship, you don’t need extravagant things to prove your love.”
Before dating Robert, Savannah had been engaged to Nic Kerdiles, who tragically died in September 2023, just weeks into her new relationship. She also quietly dated country singer Nate Smith.
Savannah’s podcast Unlocked has been her go-to outlet for discussing life openly, and she made it clear this breakup wouldn’t be any different. She said she owed it to her fans who’ve stuck by her through both her highs and lows.
