The one-time rising star of Hollywood, Jonathan Majors, is having a full-fledged career crisis in the wake of explosive audio confirming he strangled his ex-girlfriend, Grace Jabbari.
The astounding recording, which has surfaced via Rolling Stone, sent shockwaves across the industry, bringing a new wave of calls for accountability and further scrutiny of those who stood by Majors in his time of need.
The Shocking Admission
The audio, which is allegedly recorded after an altercation in London back in September 2022, contains the shocking admission by Majors. In the clip, he’s heard telling Jabbari:
“I aggressed you.”
When Jabbari says, “You strangled me and pushed me against the car,” Majors doesn’t deny it, but says:
“Yeah, all of those things are under ‘aggressed’, yeah.”
The damning evidence comes months after Majors was convicted of assault and harassment in a separate incident involving Jabbari in New York City.
Legal Consequences & Industry Fallout
The sentencing also included a year-long domestic violence intervention program, but with this new audio that has surfaced, questions have started to arise if he will face additional legal consequences and if Hollywood will fully cut ties with him.
At one point, Marvel Studios intended for Kang the Conqueror to anchor its next phase of its cinematic universe; since then, it has distanced itself from his character. That he would leave highly publicized projects, such as Creed IV and Avengers: The Kang Dynasty, is proof enough of that.

The fallout isn’t just reaching Majors, spilling over into the people who defended him, too, including Michael B. Jordan, who was earlier perceived to be one of Majors’ closest friends in Hollywood. Fans have gone onto social media to wonder why Jordan and others would continue standing in support of him despite the red flags.

From what once seemed a promising career, it now seems that Jonathan Majors’ Hollywood future hangs in the balance with this released audio clip. Now, one does wonder if he can recover or whether this is the final nail in the coffin for the once-beloved star.
