It’s no secret that the Swiss born, Twenty-Three (23) year old DJ, Gil Glaze, delivers passion within the electronic music circuit, consistently unveiling a savoury appetite of forward-thinking melodic, deep house tunes.
Having made his way across the map from Switzerland to the United States, this producer, DJ and label boss (via his own, Breeze Records) has taken the truly modest route, curating a thoughtful and strategic road ahead within the music industry, garnering co-signs from industry heavyweights like The Chainsmokers, EDX and more, while also allowing him to DJ alongside legends such as Tiesto, David Guetta, Martin Garrix, Diplo, Robin Schultz, Axwell Ingrosso, Mashmellow and more.
To celebrate 8 Years Of T.H.E, Gil shares his 8 favourite club venues across the world. This can almost become a bucketlist for someone who travels a lot (read: please stay at home till the coronavirus quarantine is over), and is passionate about clubbing.

1. MARQUEE Singapore
By far my favorite venue in the world to play. Firstly the hospitality is incredible. The club team have become family to me and always take amazing care of me. Secondly the club is just another level to anything else. There’s a Ferris wheel, slide to the dance floor and an incredible layout allowing you to see the club from all angles.
2. Club Bellevue Zurich
Love the vibes of this club. The sound system is VOID so it’s the only place I can leave without having tinnitus. Also since it’s small the room becomes quite intimate allowing you to really read the crowd.
3. Plaza Club Zurich
This has been my home for many years in Zurich. Great location as it’s in the heart of the city. I play the Thursday night parties which are their student nights and love playing the warmup there from 10-1 as the crowd come early and is always energetic.
4. LIV Miami
Getting to play here several times was an honor as it’s on most DJs wish list. The sound / visuals and lighting are out of this world and what I like most is that the DJ booth becomes a party of its own. Hospitality is also incredible as the team is on top of everything!
5. Lavo New York
I like to describe this venue as my favorite “living room” it’s quite big but has this cozy vibe to it since it’s located downstairs from the restaurant and is mostly tables. Here you can really feel the crowds energy and I usually love to test new music here. The restaurant is also really good with their Italian cuisine ( we always go here before my show).
6. MARQUEE Sydney
Really interesting venue as the ceiling is quite low but their LED system is beautiful. I’ve only played there twice as it’s so far away but my first time I literally flew in for 24 hours and back. Was one of my favorite shows to date!
7. Cavo Paradiso Mykonos
One of the craziest venues as the people stay until the early morning hours. I usually do openings and closings and love getting to play some techno at the end while the sunrises. Also crazy that they have pyro technics in the dj booth. Nearly set myself on fire once!
8. Carpe Diem Hvar
Very special venue I’ve been playing for some years. It’s located in a Forrest on an island in the middle of nowhere out in Croatia. You have to take a boat out at midnight and usually you leave at 6am during the sunrise. The boat ride back is funny because everyone’s usually drunk all singing together.
