After a lot of teasing and keeping the music fans on the edge of their seats, the French superstar producer Gesaffelstein is finally back with a new track “Reset” which is now out on Columbia Records. What’s better? It comes with an official music video!
With a dark and spooky vibe, the track makes a dramatic opening. Making the track sound minimalistic yet captivating is a daunting task but Gesaffelstein manages to do it effortlessly. With some melodies alongside beats that seem laidback and bouncy, the track also displays a hip-hop feel. The same is much richly evident as the music video shows lookalikes of current rappers like Tekashi 6ix9ine and Lil Peep. The chimes and synths add a unique touch to the track, making it a really addictive one!
After the Coachella performance in 2015, the artist was pretty silent apart from an appearance on the tracks like “I Was Never There” and “Hurt You” from The Weeknd’s My Dear Melancholy EP earlier this year. Having previously worked with the likes of Tiga, Miss Kittin, A$AP Rockey, Lana Del Rey, and Kanye West, the artist has created a massive reputation for himself that is second to none.
With this release, we also suspect that the video will make more noise than the track itself. We’re glad that the “dark prince” is back in business and can’t wait for his tour announcements! The world is keenly waiting, Mike – we hope that the wait is worth! Share this incredible news with your friends right now! Download it here.
