‘Picasso’ is no stage name; Florian is the great-grandson of the mighty Pablo, adopted by the Picasso family after being born Vietnamese.
He’s synonymous with a high-octane style of EDM that focuses on larger-than-life, unrelenting riffs and raw textures and is squarely focused on the dance-floor. But within that he shows an impressive range, from pacey trance bangers to phat trap style beats and rampant electro house.
Check out our interview with Florian where he talks about how collaborations have helped him grow as a producer, playing at Tomorrowland and his most hated character in Game Of Thrones.
How was Tomorrowland 2017? What are the fondest memories that you have of playing at this year’s edition?
How has 2017 been for you so far? What have been your highlights?
You have had so many collaborations this year? How do you feel a collaboration has helped you to become a better producer compared to solo productions? Who is on your wish-list to collaborate this year?
What do you prefer doing by yourself?
What’s a song that you have written, that came out of nowhere?
If you could know the absolute and total truth to one question, what question would you ask?
What is the best and worst purchase you’ve ever made?
From Game Of Thrones, whom do you not like, and why?
