Raised in Athens, Greece, to Greek and Egyptian parents, music has always been a part of Xenia – from piano and flute, to guitar and drums, to performing and writing: Xenia does not do music to live – she lives to do music.

T.H.E – Not a lot of people might know this, but you started a rock band at school, what inspired you to start it and what was it called?

About Xenia Ghali

Xenia Ghali is a classically trained musician, music producer, songwriter and self-taught DJ. Ghali can already claim two #1 Billboard Dance singles “Places” and “Under These Lights”. Xenia also released two singles “Broken” and “Get Dirty” featuring Grammy Award winner Wyclef Jean, through Pitbull’s label Mr. 305. DJ Xenia Ghali has headlined across Europe, including the Colour Day Festival, Summer Paradise Lindos, Summer Beach Festival and has played at world renowned clubs such as Cavo Paradiso Mykonos, the Ministry of Sound London and Cielo in New York to name a few.

Her captivating stage-presence has elicited a wide variety of fashion and beauty collaborations with Armani Exchange, Eastpak, H&M, Inglot, Yves Saint Laurent and partnerships with Adidas and G-Star. Her exposure has evolved from partnership centric to being a critical element in a full-blown campaign. Currently, Xenia is included in the next generation of notable Adidas creators in support of the iconic Adidas Superstar resurgence. Her notoriety has led to a unique collaboration with international fashion designer Michael Costello that allowed her to express her love of fashion in the best way possible; the curation of a runway playlist.

Her talents truly go beyond the charts to behind the scenes. Presently, she is also running her own record label, Funky Sheep Records, where she writes and produces song-based dance records. She strives for originality by fusing different sounds and genres into each record.

Through her music, she hopes to continue inspiring young girls to pursue their vision within the music industry; forging ahead to be the international face that invigorates the world to represent exactly who they are while executing with grace, passion and dedication.

Ghali has been featured in Cosmopolitan Greece, Esquire Greece, Hello Greece, InStyle Magazine Greece, Madame Figaro, Vice Greece, AOL, Huffington Post and performed on FOX 5 NY. Xenia splits her time between New York City and Europe.
