Jayden interview

Marking his debut release, Jayden drops ‘This Time’ feat. Celine Farach & Matluck – A single that sees the emerging artist set out his musical agenda.

Catch our chat here where we talk about ‘This Time’, plans for 2019 and more.

T.H.E – Hey Jayden! Welcome to The Music Essentials. How has 2019 kicked off for you so far?

Jayden – After closing 2018 with the release of my first track “This Time” my team and I are now focusing on promoting the song and sharing the project with everyone. I also started working on some new productions and on my show for upcoming events.

T.H.E – Congrats on your debut single ‘This Time’, how long has the release been in planning?

Jayden – After making my appearance in the world in June, I started working on This Time in July 2018.

T.H.E – The music video racked up 1.5 million plays within the first week – that must feel surreal & a notable accomplishment?

Jayden – The feedback was really overwhelming because even though I am part of a very famous brand our fans did not expect this kind of surprise. I believe it was the right presentation and I thank all our fans that are supporting this new project.

T.H.E – What was the most challenging part of the production process?

Jayden – Surely the hardest part was making the drop section since the song was thought as an anthem for the music productions to come. The song has quite a fast pace and the goal was to make the drop as emotional and orchestral as possible.

T.H.E – What made you choose to collab with Celine Farach and Matluck on this track & what was it like working together?

Jayden – We talked with Matluck since we really liked his writing and voice. He managed to write the perfect lyrics to the son I had in my mind. With this project, I also wanna explore Asia and Celine seemed just the perfect balance between a sweet voice, beautiful presence and a strong pull in the Asian market.

T.H.E – ‘This Time’ is being described as ‘setting out your musical agenda.’ What is it about the single that defines you, musically?

Jayden – The orchestral arrangement that perfectly lets through what I want to share with my music. Of course, This Time represents an anthem but I don’t exclude producing different kinds of songs in the future with the same goal: a strong emotional impact.

T.H.E – And finally, any new tour plans you can share with us & what’s next for the Panda in 2019?

Jayden – As for the events I am still working on my show, I am an unconventional character and I want my show to be as impactful as my music. Regarding 2019 projects I’ll surely be releasing two more songs and I’ll keep sharing my projects worldwide, also through crazy content on my social profiles.
