Swedish dance phenomenon and Producer Ken Bauer is joining us with a 2021 update after one of his best years in the industry, with a string of high-quality releases backing his image with releases like ‘The Sirens Are Calling’ and ‘Free’.
He has decided to take a completely new path in the industry with the fresh idea of Future Rave and is coming into 2021 hot and heavy, with a string of club-bound releases and there is still much more to come.
The genre of Future Rave is still relatively new, and Ken is ensuring that through his own vibe and heritage, he remains at the top of the list when it comes to Future Ravers. We caught up with Ken to see how the year is going so far:
T.H.E – Hey Ken, great to hear from you. First off, how are you doing?
Ken Bauer – I am doing fine all things considering. Thanks for asking.
T.H.E – Have you picked up any new hobbies?
Ken Bauer – Well yes actually, I bought myself a new grill so I am grilling everything right now, vegetables, steaks, everything and I am literary cooking most of my meals on the grill right now.
T.H.E – What have you been doing to keep yourself busy?
Ken Bauer – I’ve completed a lot of work in the studio lately. Working both on my own music as well as helping younger producers by educating them in the art of producing, mixing and mastering.
T.H.E – Tell us a bit about your musical background?
Ken Bauer – I learned to play the piano at a very young age but unfortunately, I didn’t continue playing as I grew up. It wasn’t until a few years ago when I picked up music and music production I started playing again and I am so mad at myself for not being more disciplined when I was younger.
T.H.E – What achievements are you proud of so far this year?
Ken Bauer – It has to be that David Guetta was using my latest release when opening one of his latest Radio Podcasts. It means a lot to me as he is one of the music producers I admire the most.
T.H.E – What are you looking to have achieved this year personally and in your career?
Ken Bauer – I am really impressed with the Future Rave movement started by David Guetta & MORTEN and I will do my best to contribute with music in this scene.
T.H.E – Who are your favourite artists at the moment?
Ken Bauer – David Guetta & MORTEN, Kryder and Olly James.
T.H.E – What do you have planned for the summer?
Ken Bauer – I will spend a lot of time in my studio working on music.
T.H.E – What do you do to help you gain inspiration?
Ken Bauer – I spend a lot of time working with my mentors who continues to inspire me as well as motivate me to keep producing great music.
T.H.E – What do you have in store for us that we can look forward to in the upcoming months?
Ken Bauer – I am working on a Future Rave EP that is turning out great with a lot of great feedback already from fellow producers in the Future Rave scene.
