Kash Trivedi talks to us within the guise of his alter ego – KERABO, wherein we discuss his plans for 2022, working on “Ganesha” with Gaurav Mehta and more.

Aditya – Hey Kash, Happy new year! Glad to have you for the interview. How was 2021 for you?

Kerabo – Hello team T.H.E….wish you also a happy new year. First of all, thank you for the interview. 2021 was surely full of busy with studio sessions and exploring new sounds. Also due to the pandemic situations, I have focused more on radio shows, but overall it was an amazing experience.

Aditya – Represent your music in 3 words.

Kerabo – Emotional + Rejuvenating + Energetic.

Aditya – Your track ‘Ganesha’ along with Gaurav Mehta charted on Beatport, how do you feel about that?

Kerabo – The releasing journey of Ganesha was surely very special to me.

I and Gaurav had many studio sessions in the past when I was in Hyderabad for shows. About it charting on Beatport, it was an amazing when we came to know that our track is charting in the top 100 of Beatport. We also got some superb playlist support from around the globe on Spotify.

Aditya – Who inspired you to produce Melodic House & Techno Music?

Kerabo – My inspiration for music is my own energy which comes within. This music world is constantly evolving, as it goes from generation to generation. And I am always willing to explore new styles and genres. I explore it, I understand it and I always try to add my own flavor to it. As an Indian, I am a very melodious musician and also a melodic human.

Aditya – Which DAW do you use and why?

Kerabo: For most of the music projects I have used Ableton live and 3rd party Vst Instruments and many Vst effects.

In the beginning, I started with Propellerhead Reason with Ableton Live. But after some time, I am very much comfortable with Ableton. So I now use Ableton Live for all my music productions.

Ableton Live is pretty user-friendly and is very easy to use.

Aditya – Any production tips you’d like to share for beginners & intermediate producers?

Kerabo – My advice is that always try to learn production of music from a good academy rather than wasting time watching Youtube Tutorials if you are starting your career as a music producer.

The music industry is very big and saturated so you have to come up with a unique style. It takes a lot of hard work. If you are ready to do it all, only then you must pursue it.

Aditya – As a label owner, what do you look for in demos?

Kerabo – Lohit has no genre boundary for good musicians. If music is good and impressive we always try to sign artists whether they are fresh or legends. For us, good music is what’s important.

Aditya – As Kash Trivedi, you’ve performed across all the major festivals and cities in India. How do you feel about that?

Kerabo – Yes I am really thankful to my audience and the Indian Dance Music Industry for supporting me and my music. It’s a really amazing feeling.

But now as Kerabo (my alter ego), I am looking forward to some amazing music releases and DJ shows which can cater to a new audience, with the new style of music.

Aditya – Any upcoming release you’d like to tease?

Kerabo – This week I have a new release Called “SIGIRIYA” on Skanda Records and have another BIG remix coming next week on Zephyr Music – My Remix to Anjuna Star, Kamilo Sanclemente. And many other originals are in the pipeline on Lohit Deep.

Aditya – Lastly, what do you look forward to in 2022?

Kerabo – In 2022, I want to collaborate with some top music producers around the globe and do a lot of shoes as KERABO.
