The new year is finally here full of new resolutions, projects and of course, music! We talked with Melleefresh about her plans and ambitions for the new year; here’s what she said.

T.H.E – Hey, 2023 is here and we’d like to know what are your hopes for this year regarding your music career?

Melleefresh – Some more collabs with some interesting talent and a live show or two would be tremendous.

T.H.E – What are your top 3 resolutions for this new year?

Melleefresh – 1. Spend more time in London at Play Deep Studios.
2. Get my sample pack finished.
3. Get my Twitch account up and runnin’, theres an issue with voice in and out, on a Mac using rekordbox…brutal…so complicated and technical.

T.H.E – Do you have any releases in the pipelines for the upcoming months?

Melleefresh – Yeah, Push with Hectic, my 150BPM Workout tracks and my sample pack.

T.H.E – If you could pick any event, any stage, any place: where would you like to perform in 2023?

Melleefresh – Coachella would be awesome in Palm Springs, in Ibiza at IMS, at Dalt Villa.

T.H.E – And following on from that, if the world was your oyster for selection, who would you like to collaborate with this new year?

Melleefresh – I’d still love to make a track with Nile Rogers, write more music with my gang at Play Deep Studios and I’d like to do a track with Banx & Ranx.

T.H.E – Are there any new hobbies or activities you’d like to try in 2023?

Melleefresh – Direct and star in my own TV show.

T.H.E – Are there any new skills or new gear that you’d like to implement to your studio in 2023?

Melleefresh – Whatever equipment I need, to get Twitch working, just get it, once and for all, and make the service work for me!!!

T.H.E – From a production standpoint, what would you say is the number one area you would like/need to invest time into in order to develop your production level?

Melleefresh – Setting up my space to be more efficient for live broadcasting and get my editing skills down.

T.H.E – Any new genres you’d like to explore next year?

Melleefresh – Country Glitch Hop!!! or Punkdiscofunk.

T.H.E – New sub-genres come and go into fashion every year, what are your predictions for 2023?

Melleefresh – More mashup sounds like “Punk House ” “Metal Disco” “New Disco Funk Punk”.

T.H.E – Besides yourself, which artists or labels should people follow this year?

Melleefresh – MKLA amazing House music singer, Ali X and Ximena, Kardano, Tyra Jutai, Billy Newton-Davis.

T.H.E – Make a prediction for 2023 about the world or music and we’ll try and catch you this time next year to see if it came true!

Melleefresh – It’s all about keepin’ in touch, being up to date, constantly changing and comin’ up with new sounds and performance ideas.
Keep your audience wanting more and reaching out lettin; them all know how much you love them!

T.H.E – Do you have a message for your followers for the new year?

Melleefresh – I love you all so much and totally appreciate each and everyone of you, your notes and letters, your follows, your likes, your kind words in all your mesages, your streams, your buys… Love you realleeee!!
