Next up for Alex is the all new Bacardi Enchanted Valley Carnival where he will be performing at the first ever ‘Full On’ stage in India hosted by Ferry Corsten. We managed to catch up with Alex and speak to him about performing at the #BEVC2015 and plenty more. Read our chat below.
T.H.E – Hey Alex! Thanks for taking the time out for this interview. How are you?
Alex M.O.R.P.H. – Hey, I’m fine thanks! A lot to do, but that’s a good thing. Exciting times ahead…
T.H.E – You have been handpicked by Ferry Corsten to play at his #FullOn stage at Bacardi Enchanted Valley Carnival. How did you react when you found out about this? Excited to be a part of it?
Alex M.O.R.P.H. – I’m always happy if fellow DJ colleagues like him ask me to play at their events or stages to represent their brands. It means that I’m doing things right and that the quality is good. So, can’t wait to play at BEVC, it’s a huge one!
T.H.E – As you know, Bacardi Enchanted Valley Carnival is the first-ever music festival in Asia to have a fully-fledged campsite. What do you think about this entire concept?
Alex M.O.R.P.H. – We know these kind of events from Europe since many years. People are camping, having the time of their lives on 3 or more days, lots of fun and music. Let’s hope that you guys are loving it too and that this concept is doing the rounds in Asia :-)
T.H.E – India is known for having a huge fan base for trance music. What are you looking forward to the most this time around?
Alex M.O.R.P.H. – Not easy to tell. It’s always fun, unexpected things happen everywhere. It’s a big adventure and I’m looking forward to seeing the event production!
T.H.E – Any advice that you can give to upcoming producers in terms of taking care of their health due to a lot of touring and hard work in the studio?
Alex M.O.R.P.H. – There’s no advice, really. Some people do it with ease, for others it is very stressful. You can only try to find your personal balance and distraction to keep things in line. And if you think you can’t handle it, let people help you dealing with it. Don’t risk your health, do something!
T.H.E – It’s almost the end of the year. Which 5 producers do you feel have had the maximum impact in 2015?
Alex M.O.R.P.H. – Mark Sherry, Alex di Stefano, Astrix, Dark Fusion, Tempo Giusto
