Chicago-native singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Jude Shuma has championed a indie-meets-chillwave sound that finds its undoubted charm in it’s penchant for a psychedelic style.
To date, Shuma has released two critically-applauded EPs, ‘Afternoonified,’ ‘Biggest Hits,’ and ‘Insomnium,’ that have awarded the artist syncs in some of TV’s most recognizable programs including HBO’s Ballers, CW’s Riverdale, and ABC’s Quantico.
Now, Shuma is gearing up for the release of a brand new project- a full-length EP titled ‘Reflection’ out September 22nd.
For fans’ first glimpse into Shuma’s EP, today, he is sharing the first cut from ‘Reflection’ with debut single “Lemonade.” This new offering from Shuma will ring a bell with those already familiar with Shuma’s work thanks to the track’s lo-fi aesthetic built from the combination of strummed guitar melodies, raw vocal composition, and earworm lyrics.
Up next, Shuma will be preparing for the next single from the ‘Reflection’ EP, the project’s title track, out September 15th, and the full EP release on September 22nd.
