The 22-year old, Canadian producer Bishu has joined forces with Anjulie to release a brand new track – “Control”.
This creative piece of future bass production is now out on the Monstercat imprint.
A dynamic opening sets up the stage for the vocals to steer you through the track. The husky vocals, crisp choral works and, prominent synth lines cast a really catchy vibe. The drop is not over-done, making incredibly balanced and groove-worthy! Dreamy, melodic elements also surface at regular intervals, while the energy in the track is maintained consistently.
“I made “Control” a few summers ago. I think I was listening to a lot of pop music around that time. It came together fairly quickly and I remember the moment I made the drop it was something special. When I heard Anjulie was going to be hopping on it I was super stoked, she’s amazing! Very happy with how it turned out and am excited to see what everyone thinks.” – Bishu
Having first made his name known in the electronic music scene with collaborations with Tomsize, Luca Lush, and Quix, the artist’s talent is well known. It is this talent that earned him releases on revered labels like Unborn, Elysian and Mad Decent. He made his performance debuts in 2016 at Mad Decent Block Party, Lights All Night, and Wobbleland, along with supporting Peking Duk and Jackal throughout North America.
Anjulie is also a Canadian singer who has worked with many prominent artists such as Kelly Clarkson, Nicki Minaj, and Icona Pop. Having been in the industry for more than a decade, her voice is well known, earning her many revered award nominations!
