Bass tastemaker Tisoki returned to Monstercat today with a high-energy remix of “Nirvana” from iconic duo Candyland.
Speeding up the tempo with a frenetic bassline, Tisoki reworked the dark trap-inspired 808s with broken beat drums and invigorating claps for a drum & bass banger.
Fusing fiery elements with hints of the original melodic tone, the remix highlights Tisoki’s impressive ability to produce within different ranges. Fans can look forward to hearing his fresh take on “Nirvana” live as he opens for Crankdat at Gilt Nightclub in Orlando this month.
Tisoki shares, “I’m so thrilled to have gotten the chance to remix this incredible song by my good friends Candyland. They were one of the first acts to really support my music nine years ago, so it’s a very full circle moment for me to have this opportunity. Hope you guys enjoy it as much as I do!”
