The Journey Behind ‘Vertigo of Eternity’
Santiago Nino, the artist behind Hermetics, channels his transformative experiences into this record. Reflecting on an Ayahuasca ceremony in 2018, he describes encountering a “radiant, dizzying spiral” that dissolved his ego and identity. This overwhelming yet liberating vision became the cornerstone of the album’s thematic core. The title, ‘Vertigo of Eternity,’ borrows from Dutch philosopher Bernardo Kastrup, who coined the term to encapsulate a similar transcendental experience.
