The Bristol based UK duo known as Icarus (aka Tom and Ian Griffiths) released ‘King Kong’ earlier this year, delivering a beast of a track which has been widely well received and highly sought after.
Now, the duo release remixes of their latest single ‘King Kong’, courtesy of Secondcity & Felon.
Secondcity’s unique approach shows in his brilliant take, as he chops the soulful aspects of the original’s vocal into a bass-heavy reworking that consistently builds tension towards its hefty drops.
While London production trio Felon have delivered a streamlined deep house-orientated approach to ‘ King Kong ’, which contrasts the original soaring topline with a deep pitch-shifted vocal.
