Brixton native Joe Hertz recently revealed his incredible new single “Simple” featuring vocalist Jones, released via Juicebox Recordings.
With results like garnering over 589K+ streams online, radio support from Monki, Clara Amfo, and Joe and JONES performing the track LIVE to a packed KOKO in Camden last Sunday, it’s safe to say that the track has hit its stride very early on.
Today, singer, producer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist, Chris McClenney has just given his own twist to the original single. Slowing things down and putting an ultra-sexy vibe on “Simple”, Chris has infused the track with some groovy, bouncy synths and soulful/retro R&B influences.
Listen to it here:
Chris shares, “I heard the original, and was immediately excited to put my bounce on it. There was this emotional energy in the original and I wanted to flip it a little to make it super groovy and feel-good.”
Chris McClenney’s remix is out now across all DSP’s on Juicebox Recordings.
