Rising stars John Dee, Choppaz, and Jack Light have teamed up to release their highly anticipated single, “Rockstar,” under BASS DIVISION.

Having just dropped, the track is an energetic anthem blending hard-hitting beats with raw lyricism, capturing the intensity of chasing fame.

JOHN DEE, a renowned bass music DJ from Germany, is known for his high-energy performances at top festivals like Bootshaus, Sputnik Springbreak, and World Club Dome. With tens of millions of streams, his music has been released on top labels like Liquicity, Viper Recordings, and No Copyright Sounds. Dee’s collaborations with major artists such as BLVCK CROWZ and Eskei83 cement his place in the scene.

CHOPPAZ, also from Germany, has built a strong fan base since 2019 with performances at festivals like WORLD CLUB DOME and Hill Of Dreams, and support from industry giants like NGHTMRE and JOYRYDE. His cutting-edge production style brings an explosive energy to “Rockstar.”

Together, the trio delivers a bold, rebellious track that’s set to shake up the UK and European music scenes. And to celebrate, John Dee and CHOPPAZ gave us a Spotify drum & bass takeover, which you can check out below, helping to explain how they’ve delivered such a high-energy record.

Sub Focus, Dimension, NGHTMRE – Angel

Just a beautiful tune. I love the happy vibe of the track while also being absolutely powerful on the dancefloor.

1991 – Jungle

This production feels like it’s from another world, so dreamy and unique. Immediately fell in love with the vocals.

Voicians – Back In Time

Probably the best song I’ve heard all year: vocals, melody, groove just everything absolutely on point. Voicians is also one of my music buddies and he’s amazing – producing, singing, doing everything by himself. You should check this guy out.

Grafix, Andromedik – Comedown

Huge vibes once again it’s again some progressive drum and bass how I call it, reminds me a lot of Progressive House in some ways. Simple yet super catchy melody, I love these kinds of songs.

Chase & Status, Stormzy – Backbone

Past two years Chase & Status have been crushing. Everything they touch turns into gold in my opinion, not a single miss and also bringing the genre forward with their Stormzy Collaboration

CHOPPAZ

Subsonic, Cameron Hayes – Ascend

I’ve been waiting a long time for the track to finally come out. Now it will be in all my sets in the future.

A Little Sound, Sugababes – Situation

I love it when DNB is mixed with classics. A Little Sound has made a 10/10 track out of it

Basstripper – Hazmat

I love the dark vibes in the drop – always works well live

Sub Focus – Wildfire

I built up a very nice bond with the track in a short time, as it was released in the middle of summer and I often listened to it in my free time

Rova – Say My Name

I love the vocals – even if they only consist of 7 words. Perfect follow up to ROVA – Eyes One Me
