Melodic house producer Keanler made his Monstercat debut today, reuniting with vocalist and producer Lewyn to unveil their dreamy single, “Oxygen.”
On a warm spring night, Keanler was inspired to try something new and branch from his signature stylings. Led by Lewyn’s emotive vocals that reflect on the intensity of a relationship, “Oxygen” sees Keanler blend euphoric synthwork and deep atmospheric pads for a moody, yet cathartic arrangement.
With their previous collaboration, “Better Than This,” amassing over one million streams, the duo are primed to make waves again in the melodic house circuit.
Keanler shares, “I would like to dedicate “Oxygen” to my friend who told me about Monstercat Silk, without whom I surely wouldn’t have had the idea of releasing this track on this label.”
Lewyn adds, “It’s been a breeze collaborating with Keanler. I think he is an incredible and intuitive producer with a really sophisticated touch. We worked together effortlessly. Happy to see this song being released on Monstercat. It’s a great home for this track.”
