Today, Chicago-based house producer Maliboux made his Monstercat debut, unveiling his bouncy new single, “Remedy.”
Originally pursuing a career in film, Maliboux found his passions lied with music and leveraged his cinematic prowess to develop a forward-thinking sound. Written after months of intense writer’s block, “Remedy” is representative of the young producer’s tenacity to let nothing stand in the way of his music.
The infectious lyrics and uplifting synths blend perfectly with the groovy bassline and crisp percussion, showcasing Maliboux’s natural talent. After winning Zedd’s “Inside Out” remix competition and releasing his highly-anticipated collab with Nitti Gritti last year, Maliboux continues his upward trajectory with his first single on Monstercat setting the tone.
Maliboux shares, “‘Remedy’ is the first song I wrote after months and months of doubt and writer’s block. It was literally the “Remedy” I needed to reverse my creative drought!”
