Martin Solveig reveals 4 more official remixes for his latest single ‘Places’ feat. Ina Wroldsen. The piano-driven track has been reimagined by Audion, Leon Reverse, Conro and Billy Kenny whose renditions of ‘Places’ will join the recently released Icarus rework, completing the strong remix package.
From Audion’s dark techno sheen to Leon Reverse’s uplifting twist, each remix complements Martin’s original track. Undefeated percussion and layered synths fill Conro’s trap-like version, whilst Billy Kenny provides a bold, bass-driven edit.
Released at the end of 2016, Solveig displayed a striking new sound for the original of ‘Places’. He enlisted the vocal talent of Norwegian singer/songwriter Ina Wroldsen, who notably leant her vocals to Calvin Harris & Disciples’ hit ‘How Deep Is Your Love’ and co-wrote Clean Bandit’s #1 single ‘Rockabye’. The upbeat track has received over 17.5 million Spotify plays and gained support across BBC Radio 1 from Pete Tong, Greg James, Danny Howard, Clara Amfo and Adele Roberts. The station also made ‘Places’ their ‘Track of The Day’.
