MK has joined production forces with UK based techno producer and DJ, Will Clarke. Their debut single ‘My Church’ is out today via Will Clarke’s explosive imprint All We Have Is Now.
Glitchy, dense techno, led by powerful vocals set the tone for this club-oriented record. An amalgamation of two contrasting production styles ‘My Church’ showcases the heavier side in the Detroit legend’s repertoire.
‘My Church’ follows MK’s feelgood single ‘2AM’, widely received on Spotify and peers alike with over seven million streams and counting, the single has also been given the remix treatment from revered artists including Paul Woolford, Endor and Martin Ikin.
One of the most idolized figures from the world of dance music, MK has over 30 years in the game and is best known for the platinum-selling ‘Back & Forth’ and ‘17’ which has sold more than one million copies in the UK alone. ‘17’ was preceded by ‘Piece of Me’ in 2016, another platinum-selling record to add to MK’s growing career milestones.
Nominated as ‘Best Newcomer DJ’ in 2016 for the annual DJ Awards in Ibiza, Will Clarke has gone from strength to strength culminating praise and further accolades along the way including two Billboard Dance Chart #1’s for his remixes of U2 and Rihanna.
Having constantly crossed each other paths it was only a matter of time before these two producers put their minds together – ‘My Church’ is the result of that.
