PREMIERE: Mathew Jonson Gives Goldie’s “Redemption” A New, Ethereal Dimension

With a mixture of dancefloor flare and nuanced musicality, Mathew Jonson is well known throughout the worlds of house and techno.

Alongside his work as co-founder of label Wagon Repair, with Jesse Fisk, as well as his own musical offerings, he’s remained a firm face amongst the techno elite. And this is one of the primary reasons why he was asked to join the ranks of the pivotal remixes project forthcoming on Metalheadz. Through his eclectic mix of production styles, he injects his expert imagination into Goldie’s ‘Redemption’. Originally released as part of Goldie’s ‘The Journey Man’ LP on Cooking Vinyl, ‘Redemption’ is given a new, ethereal dimension through Mathew Jonson’s work.
