With esteemed producer, DJ an BBC Radio 1 presenter René LaVice discovering the rising talent, Bristol-based producer Halflight gets set to make his debut on René’s tastemaker Device label, with new single “Out Of Love.”

Halflight’s new single follows years of achievements as part of the former DJ and producer duo Cutline who produced bonafide dance floor hits Runnin’, Let It Go and Die For You whilst officially remixing Rudimental’s UK #1 Feel The Love.

During their meteoric rise, the duo also racked up 10 million views on YouTube whilst touring the world with performances from the Isle of Wight Festival, to shows across Europe, Canada and Australia, including some of the world’s most renowned clubs, Fabric, BCM and Paradiso.

Now flying solo as Halflight, Dan continues his glowing trajectory with numerous releases on D&B powerhouse Viper Recordings and the mighty UKF whilst remixing for the likes of Diplo, Zeds Dead and The Jungle Brothers.
With his latest release Lean on Bassrush Vol. 4 via Viper Recordings, Halflight caught the attention of Device label head and BBC Radio 1 presenter René LaVice, who made it his Rinse Out Tune of the Week on his show, paving the way for his new single Out Of Love on the Device label.

The first solo release on the Device imprint, Halflight’s Out Of Love demonstrates the talented producer’s skill for making a killer DnB cut. Boasting futuristic pads and melodic piano stabs that underpin a soaring vocal, Out Of Love gives a nod to the old school whilst sounding totally fresh.

Halflight – Out Of Love is out now via Device.
