Vancouver’s resident future bass tastemaker Sabai returned to Monstercat today, accompanied by melodic bass artist Adam Pearce and renowned singer-songwriter Zack Gray for their new single, “Trust Issues.”
The somber piano chords, and subtle strings blend perfectly together, forming a beautiful, yet melancholic soundscape. Zack Gray’s silky vocals add a layer of raw emotion to the single, with the lyrics drawing inspiration from the trios’ previous relationship experiences. With its powerful chord progressions and relatable narrative, “Trust Issues” is a melodic bass anthem that is sure to tug at your heart.
Sabai shares, “All our experiences, whether they’re bad or good shape us to be who we are today.”
Adam Pearce adds, “All we want to do is be seen and in the hearts of those close to us, “Trust Issues” is our impassioned representation of that.”
