First heard during the breakthrough Boiler Room set Fred again.. played last July, the highly anticipated “Baby, again..” which is a collaboration between the new favorite trio, Skrillex, Four Tet, and Fred again.. Is out now via Atlantic Records.
Riding high on one of the most epic shows of all time played by the three in a marathon 5-hour set at Madison Square Garden, it was in fact this very track that was played when the house lights went off in the middle of the set in a rather climatic moment.
The freshly dropped song heavily samples Lil Baby and Da Baby’s 2019 track “Baby,” accelerating the BPM and adding layers of the trios signature ravey production, elevating it to dancefloor readiness.
The trio who fans fondly call Pangbourne House Mafia, also shared that this track has also been created during an impromptu studio session in Pangbourne, England where Fred, Skrillex and Four Tet came together to make music in the remote English countryside.
While Skrillex had a number of collaborations with Four Tet and Fred again.. on both his albums which dropped last week, “Quest For Fire” and “Don’t Get Too Close” they chose to leave this collaboration out and release it as a single today (March 17, 2023). Stream the song here!
