Can anybody forget the musical sensation that Whitney Houston was? Certainly not.

It’s been over 7 years since her death and her voice still makes its way into our homes one way or the other – such has been her influence. After three posthumous track releases in 2012, it’s now time for another Whitney Houston treat.

This time the track comes as a collaboration with one of EDM’s most sought-after producers, Kygo. We can only imagine how big this can really get! The track is called “Higher Love” and is out today (Friday), the 28th of July.

Kygo has had multiple hit collaborations with the likes of Rita Ora, Selene Gomez, and Ellie Goulding but this rework of Whitney’s track has to be the biggest in his career thus far. “Higher Love” is originally a cover of Steve Winwood’s single and was only released in the Japanese edition of her album “I’m Your Baby Tonight” in 1990.

Whitney’s vocals and Kygo’s masterful ability to add soul to his productions make this one of the greatest crossovers of all times. Having been promoted both by Kygo and Whitney’s manager Clive Davis on social media, the buzz created by the track is unimaginable.

What do you think of the collaboration?
