Unveiling “House Music For Stripclubs”
The album opens with “10 Outta 10,” setting the tone with groovy basslines, while tracks like “Body Pop” and “Something Real” showcase soulful and seductive vibes. Yellow Claw explains, “Stripclubs and their aesthetics inspire us—the hustle, the atmosphere, and the realness.” Collaborating with artists like OGAQUAFINA, the duo captures the essence of strip club culture through raw and unpolished house music.
The Creative Process
Yellow Claw revealed that half of the album was written during an 8-week stint in Bali, where inspiration flowed freely. Tracks like “Pipe It Up” reflect the glitz and grime of Las Vegas, while “10 Outta 10” emerged from a conversation about content creators in Cancun. The duo also collaborated with a former stripper-turned-photographer to bring authenticity to the album’s visuals.
